My philosophy

For those of you who are looking for the therapy jargon, my approach is rooted in ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and often incorporates mindfulness based practices, somatic and exposure interventions and attachment based methods in session.  For those who are interested, I incorporate faith-based discussions and interventions as well.

Expect a warm welcome, nonjudgmental space cultivating growth and meaningful change along with a few laughs!!

anxiety and excessive worry

people-pleasing and being the "fixer"

self-compassion and being hard on yourself

therapy is uniquely individualized

Areas of Focus

Lack of general fulfullment &meaning

the everyday difficulties that hold you back

bridging the gap with nutrition and emotional issues.

You were not made to do this thing called life alone.  Friends and Family are a great support system but doesn't cut it when it comes down to the knitty gritty things.  Lets normalize this thing called asking for help!

Why invest in therapy?

This is where the magic happens.
